“Happy New Year! Welcome to a new year full of new information and a year in which NFN4Good TechClub will help you navigate through the exponentially growing field of Tech and Not-for-profit organizations. We work to help you work smarter, not harder.

Our January 6, 2015 meeting features two guest presentations.

Noble Acts LogoFirst is NFN4Good TechClub member Marc Smolec and his colleague Bart Bil. They will discuss online donor contributions and how their company, NobleActs , has made the process easier and potential greater. NobleActs Online Contribution Networks is a provider of a low cost web hosted software solution for nonprofit organizations who want to maximize their proceeds from charitable contributions.

Will McDonough - Technology AttorneyOur second presentation is from NFN4Good TechClub member Will McDonough. Will is an attorney and has brought FIPA – the new Florida Information and Protection Act of 2014 , to our attention. This Act requires, among other things, mandatory notifications in the event that a business incurs a breach of its customer’s personal information. Will explains some of the details of this Act an how it may affect our services and practices.

We invite all local nonprofit organizations to network, learn, test and explore new technologies, exchange ideas, and best practices. #nptech #nfn4g #501swfl #net2
